Request for proposals: Fundraising Consultant

March 29, 2019

Aquidneck Land Trust (“ALT”), on behalf of the Newport Open Space Partnership (“NOSP” or “Partnership”) seeks proposals from qualified fundraising consultants to assist NOSP in conducting an internal audit of its fundraising needs and challenges and to conduct a feasibility study of potential funding sources for implementation of the Newport Tree, Parks, and Open Space Master Plan as a whole and as focused on priority projects in the current environment. The study should determine how NOSP can better position itself to raise capital and, assuming those internal changes are made, how much capital can realistically be raised and in what timeframe. The study will identify potential partners, or partnership strategies, challenges, lending and finance options, and other issues or roadblocks for NOSP to consider. Additionally, the consultant would develop an action plan of moving forward towards a formal fundraising campaign planning and assessment process.
