Thanks for Attending!

Thank you for attending the second community meeting for this planning process on January 28, 2016. An estimated 140 people filled the room at Pell School to listen to the presentation of the team’s work so far and share their thoughts on the three proposed approaches for Newport’s open space: Waterfront, Neighborhood Parks, and Connectivity. The evening began with an open house session followed by a 30-minute presentation. The meeting wrapped up with an interactive session for community members to visit stations throughout the room and fill out surveys that documented their priorities.
