The next opportunity to provide feedback is Thursday, January 28 at the second community meeting. The meeting will be held at the Pell School, starting at 6:00 pm with an open house and presentation at 6:30 pm. We hope to see you there! Read more here.

Have you heard? The Newport Open Space Partnership is creating a plan for the beautiful parks, trees, and open spaces across Newport – and we want your input!

The Newport Open Space Partnership is studying the city’s active and passive green spaces plus water amenities to create the first city-wide master plan for trees, parks and open space since Frederic Law Olmsted’s “Recommendations for Newport” in 1913. This effort is a partnership of the City of Newport, the Newport Tree and Open Space Commission, the Aquidneck Land Trust, the Aquidneck Island Planning Commission, and the Newport Tree Society.
