Summer in Newport's Open Spaces

We had so much fun sharing our Virtual Summer Programming!

Our Socially Distanced Obstacle Course got kids moving and we loved connecting kids with the nature around them in our Nature at Home Art Program and Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt.

The Summer may be winding down, but it’s important to stay connected with nature and continue to get outside! Our parks and open spaces are there for us to be enjoyed all year long. We are lucky to live in a place with such a beauty, history, and focus on preserving open spaces.

Visit our online park explorer to find a park near you and discover new public spaces in Newport you never knew about!

Continue to #getoutside and stay tuned for open space updates this fall.

This program is “Powered by Prince” through a grant from the Frederick Henry Prince Memorial Fund at Newport Hospital and by the generosity of the van Beuren Charitable Foundation.
