Abbruzzi Field
The northern home of the Newport Little League, the park includes a baseball field, T-ball field, concession stand and restrooms.

Ann Street Pier & Maritime Center
Located adjacent to the Maritime Center with its services for transient boaters, it is a popular location for visiting boaters.

Aquidneck Park
The grounds of the former Edward King estate make up Aquidneck Park and acts as a campus for the Senior Center, Public Library and Martin Recreation Center. The park includes lighted tennis courts, a playground and a large lawn for play, but is also popular for more passive activities such as sunbathing or reading a book.

Baileys Beach
Located at the southern end of the Cliff Walk, is the public portion of Bailey’s Beach, known by locals as Rejects Beach. The beach has limited parking and amenities but is much loved for its natural scenery.

Ballard Park
This 13 acre park was created in 1990, donated to the City by Carol Ballard. The undisturbed beauty of Ballard Park and its surroundings will be preserved in perpetuity after the city, Aquidneck Land Trust and Ballard family reached an agreement to place 75 acres under permanent conservation easements The park is a popular place for hikes and dog walking.

Battery Park
Located in the Point District Neighborhood, Battery Park was created from “Fort Greene,” a former military battery from the War of 1812. A small, waterfront park, overlooking the Newport Bridge the park is perfect for picnics, sunset strolls and taking in views of the harbor.

Braga Park
Donated in memory of a fallen Vietnam Soldier, Braga Park includes basketball courts, a playground, a picnic area, a soccer field, a softball field, and is the access point for the Easton’s Pond rim trail.

Brenton Point
Brenton Point State Park offers its visitors a spectacular view on the East Coast. The park is located at the point of land where Narragansett Bay meets the Atlantic, midway along Ocean Drive. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, hiking, fishing, and taking in the majestic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Cardines Field
This historic wooden stadium located in the heart of downtown Newport is home to multiple leagues including the popular collegiate league’s Newport Gulls. With references dating back as far as 1893, Cardines Field is considered one of the oldest ball parks in the country.

Cliff Walk
The world famous 3.5 mile coastal trail is the most visited tourist location in Rhode Island. Designated as a National Recreation Trail it offers unmatched scenic beauty and views of the gilded age mansions that line the walk.
